We are Protea Professional because I, Dr Aloysia as founder and director, am proudly South African. Proteas are flowers that originate in South Africa. They are the national flower of South Africa, and for cricket lovers the world over, associated with the South African national cricket team, who are called The Proteas. They were first named in the 16th century, after a Greek God that changed form….. and something about them having a diverse appearance- I didn’t pay too much attention after diverse because I’m not really into Greek mythology. They literally can look like anything and be found in any colour you can think of.
